Q: WILL YOU BE SHOOTING THE WEDDING?A: Yes. You are hiring me (Sarah Griffin) to shoot the wedding, not another photographer working under my name.
Q: WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE SHOOTING WEDDINGS?A: I have a degree in technical photography and have been shooting weddings since 2004.
Q: HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT A YEAR?A: In order to provide the best customer service to our clients, we only take on 25 weddings a year.
Q DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE? A: It May seem like a funny question, but more and more venues are requiring all vendors to carry and show proof of insurance. We have insurance and can provide proof for your venue if needed.
Q: CAN WE MAKE PRINTS WITH THE USB FLASH DRIVE THAT'S INCLUDED IN OUR WEDDING COLLECTION?A: Absolutely! Each wedding collection includes a custom USB flash drive with wedding day images. All of the photos on the USB will be high resolution, edited, and ready to print. You can have prints made at any photo lab.
Q: CAN WE STILL ORDER PRINTS FROM YOU?A: Of course! We use an awesome professional lab that produces AMAZING prints. You, your friends, and family can order professional prints directly through your online photo gallery.
Q: WILL THE WEDDING PHOTOS ON OUR USB DRIVE BE EDITED?A: Yes! All 800-1000 of your wedding day photos will be edited, color corrected, and ready to print.
Q: DO YOU SHOOT WITH AN ASSISTANT?A: I always shoot with an assistant/2nd photographer. This frees me up to focus on shooting and looking for special moments while ensuring that between the two of us, we don’t miss the important ones. The 2nd shooter offers a different perspective and allows us to work efficiently throughout the entire day.
Q: WHERE ARE YOU BASED?A: I am based in New Braunfels, Texas, but I do travel. Being in central Texas I do a lot weddings in San Antonio, Austin and the Texas Hill Country.
Q: DO YOU TRAVEL?A: I love to travel and will generally arrive at least one day before the event to help ensure that unexpected travel delays do not make me late or miss your big day. Contact me and I can give you a travel quote.
Q: WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?A: I shoot with a Nikon D700 and Nikon D3s and a combination of Nikkor prime and zoom lenses. I have multiple cameras, lenses and lights and always bring back-up equipment to each wedding.
Q: WHEN WILL I GET TO SEE MY WEDDING PHOTOS?A: Your photos will generally be ready 8-10 weeks following the wedding. I go through a careful process of choosing the best images from the day and processing each of them with individual attention. When your photos are ready, you will receive a link to your own personalized gallery where you can view, download and share your pictures with friends and family.
Q: DO YOU SHOOT VIDEO?A: Unfortunately, to focus my attention on the photography, I cannot do both at once myself. I do have a few awesome people I have worked with before that I recommend if you are looking for video on your wedding day.
Q: DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?A: Yes. I offer custom-designed flush mount leather albums along with cards, prints, gallery wrapped canvases and other photo products.
Q: WHO CHOOSES THE PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE ALBUM?A: I let you choose the pictures you want in your album. When I am designing the album with your picture choices, I usually add a few of my own picture choices to help tell the story of your wedding day make your album flow better.
Q: WILL YOU POST THE PHOTOGRAPHS ONLINE?A: That is entirely up to you! I usually post wedding previews on my blog and on FB, but if you would not like your wedding pictures in social media, I will respect your wishes.
